Our Beauty Journey
Dolce Catalina was started by Beth Williams in 2023. Dolce Catalina means “Sweet Catalina”, named after Beth’s daughter.
Beth first began getting lash extensions the summer of 2022. She was facing another breast reconstruction surgery after being diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2021. She was looking for something to make her feel good about herself after numerous surgeries, including a double mastectomy in 2021.
After spending most of her adult life working in the legal field, Beth was informed she was getting laid off last July. Faced with the prospect of having to look for another job, she realized she wanted to be her own boss. She was inspired to start a lash company because of how much wearing lash extensions helped her feel better about herself during a difficult time.
She started developing Dolce Catalina’s first product, a cluster lash kit. It took quite a bit of work, but with the support of her friends and family, it came out perfect.
The future for Dolce Catalina is definitely bright, and Beth expects to launch many more products that make a woman feel good about herself.
